The Electronics Equipment Pool Catalog is organized by the type
of equipment and the manufacturer of the equipment. Selecting a
link under type will open a lower level directory for that type
of equipment (NIM, CAMAC, Power Supplies, etc.) In these directories, more
specific categories are listed from which a specific unit can be selected.
Selecting a link under manufacturer will open a directory for
all units in the catalog produced by that manufacturer, regardless of the
type of equipment.
Module/Unit Pages
After selecting a specific unit via one of the above methods, the entry-level
page for that unit is presented to the browser. This page contains a picture
of the unit, which can be "blown up" by clicking on the image, and two
sections of links to information about the piece of equipment. The two
links above the horizontal rule are links to the manufacturer's specifications
for that unit and the manufacturer's web site (if it exists). The links
below the horizontal rule are links restricted to users at Fermilab.
A listing with no active link or no links present under the headings
does not always mean that no information exists. As the Catalog is
undergoing constant revision, it is likely that information may
exist, but has not been placed on-line. You may call x2688 with questions
about ECOs, MODs, or diagnostic information.
Searching the Catalog
Selecting search will open the Equipment Catalog search page.
The query box allows a user to enter a combination of keywords to search
for in the specification pages of the entire equipment catalog. The resulting
listing of module links will open the specification pages for that piece
of equipment. Please see the Equipment Catalog Search Hints
and Notes page for more specific information.
Requesting Equipment in the Catalog
Equipment found within the Electronics Equipment Pool Catalog may be
requested from PREP. Before filing a request, please read about Requesting
Equipment from the Pool by clicking the Request link on the
Catalog
Home Page. Requests for equipment may be made by following the instructions
listed on that page.
NOTE: All items listed in this catalog are in the equipment pool,
but may not be available for issue at this time.
