END USERS:
In an effort to ease the connection between the power supply and the subrack, CD/PREP will be issuing Power Supply/Subrack combinations that will require a minimal number of electrical and physical connection to nbe made.

Electrical and physical connections that will need to be made are:
1- Attach bus bar block to power supply plate.
2- (2) color coded sables from bus bars to Power Supply for +5V and Ground
3- (1) 2-wire +5V sense cable from sunrack to power supply
4- (4) 14AWG wires from subrack to power supply.

POWER SUPPLY

- Ensure that all AC power connections are tight and not exposed.  Wrap the AC outlet, AC Fuse Holder, AC power Lamp and AC power switch with self vulcanizing electrical tape. (3m Scotch 70 Self-Fusing Silicone Rubber Tape (FNAL Stock 1130-2200)

WIRING
The following table assumes the following:

Upper Backplane (UB) Schroff VME System Bus Backplane (PN 60800-390)
Lower Backplane (LB) Schroff VME I/O Bus Backplane (PN 60800-430)
ACDC Rev103B Power Supply (5V@150A, 12V@15A, 12V@15A)

The subrack is supplied with the bus bar block connected to the crate with 20 Red and 20 Black 14 Ga. wires.  The bus bar block also has (2) 2AWG cables with attached to the power supply as noted in the table below.

Also supplied with the subrack are 1 Yellow, 1 Blue and 2 Green 14 Ga wires, and a Sense cable.  These wires connect directly to the power supply as noted in the table below.
