NIM POWER SUPPLY MONITOR ES7136

DESCRIPTION
The NIM Power upply Monitor was designed to monitor voltages of a multi-bin experimental facility.  The module is single-wide, and occupies only one slot in a master bin whigh powers the module.  Therefore, only one NIM bin slot is nessecary in the entire facility to monitor six voltages on each of eight bins.

The module detects any error more than +/-2% on bin power supply voltages in a typical lab environment, 0C to 50C.  It detects transient spikes down to 10uSec in width.

The module rejects potential differences between grounds of master and slave bins.  The common mode rejection ratio is about 80dB at DC and 78dB at 60 Hz.

Seven cables can be attached to the rear of the module.  The opposing end of each cable is plugged into PG15 of a slave power supply.

Bin Selection
In SCAN mode, module scans all 8 bins.  With Bin 1 through Bin 8 selectedm modules monitirs selected bin.
Bin Voltage Selection
+/-6V can be selected for monitoring bin by bin.  +/-24V together with +/-12V can be selected bin by bin.
Test
Internal test circuits generates +/-2% error to test the module.
