The Highland M2560/2585 CAMAC crates are high powered, fully featured card cages and power supplies capable of supporting up to 25 standard CAMAC (IEEE 583) data acquisition and control modules.
This family of CAMAC crates is designed for maximum reliability under demanding conditions of full power output and high ambient temperature. High-efficiency switching regulators are used for the plus and minus six volt supplies, providing up to 85 amp output on either polarity. Linear regulators are used in the 12 and 24-volt supplies, providing good efficiency and excellent noise and transient performance. These crates meet the IEEE 583 specification limits for noise and transient response on all supplies; this performance, combined with superior module cooling and advanced CAMAC Crate features, make the M2585 an ideal choice for high reliability Transient Digitizer and Data Logger Systems.
