GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Models PM2496 and PM2497 are two lines of single output switching
regulator supplies which provide from 200 to 800 watts, depending on
the type, of regulated DC output voltage, ranging from 2VDC to
28VDC.
SPECIFICATIONS
INPUT 92 to 138 or 184 to 250 VRMS (specify choice), single phase, 47
to 63 HZ. Will regulate through line dips to 80 or 160 VRMS. AC Input
Fuse standard an all units.

TOTAL ERROR BAND: +-2%: (+-100mv for 2 and 3 volt units) including
the following:
Input power Variator over the specified range.
Static Loads from 0 to 100%.
Dynamic Load Steps (10 usec rise) 25% on 5VDC units, up to 90% on
higher voltage units.
Ripple and Switching Spikes.
Temperature Stability over full operating range )0' to 50'C.
Drift for an 8 hour period following unit warmup.
POWER LOSS HOLDUP: Output will remain within regulation 30 milliseconds after the loss of AC input when operating at full load and nominal line. (115V or 230V)
OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTION. Activation of overvoltage circuit to protect the load occurs at 125%+/-10% of rated output. Overvoltage crowbar is available as an option.
OVERLOAD PROTECTION: Current limiting circuitry will initiate fold back between 100% and 120% of full load current. Short circuit current will be approximately 40% of full load current. The output recovers automatically from overcurrent shutdown after load fault is removed.
REVERSE VOLTAGE PROTECTION: Supply is innerently immune to reverse voltage at a maximum of 25% of full load current indefinitely with the fan on.
REMOTE SENSE. Standard on all units.
